He also mentioned that the successes and achievements of our ex-trainees owes a lot to the commitment and dedication of the partnering state governments and the FCT administration, and hopes that the benefits of the partnership continue to be visible in the communities we serve.

In addition, the Executive Director, Leventis Foundation Nigeria, Dr. Hope Usieta in his speech mentioned areas in which the organization has supported different intervention projects such as the improved agricultural training towards sustainable development of agriculture within the country, Scholarships for Nigerian students for doctoral research at internationally recognized institutions around the world such as Harvard and Cambridge, Master’s degree scholarships at Cyprus, degree scholarship to Nigerians and Ghanaians at Earth University in Costa-Rica, the construction of Museum at Ile-Ife, philanthropic contributions in the Health sector targeted towards treatment of cervical cancer, sickle cell anaemia, comprehensive eye care programme to eliminate river blindness and prevention of trachoma e.t.c.
