The Assistant General Manager, Agricultural Value Chain Development and Services, NIRSAL in person of Dr. Farouk Kurama, paid a visit to Leventis Foundation Nigeria on the 20th of June, 2018 to state the organization’s interest in partnering to support youths in agriculture by identifying and analyzing areas that need intervention.

He added that NIRSAL is majorly interested in capacity building targeted at supporting youths in agriculture, facilitating agribusinesses and de-risking lending in agriculture through technical assistance.

Leventis Foundation Nigeria’s Executive Director Dr. Hope Usieta said that the organization would like to partner with NIRSAL in the financing of some food value chain to help increase the production capacity of the rural farmers (Trainees) that have undergone training with any of the Foundation’s training schools.

Finally, the ED added that the Foundation looks forward to partnering with NIRSAL.
