Jessica is an undergraduate student at the University of Alabama, where she studies Environmental Engineering and Business. She is presently on full scholarship as a National Merit Scholar and has carried out researches on Sustainable Agriculture in Guatemala, research on waste water treatment in rural Alabama, and a bamboo workshop in Ecuador. She hopes to combine her knowledge from these experiences and university studies at the Leventis Foundation Nigeria.
She will be working with us for two weeks and her job role will be concentrated on research such as rain water harvesting for crop irrigation during dry season and other agricultural innovative techniques that can be applied to the organization’s daily operations in order to increase yield and decrease environmental impact.
She is very excited to work with us at Leventis Foundation (Nigeria).
