Job Description:
As a Trainer in Agricultural Engineering, your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing Leventis Foundation’s training strategies in Agricultural Engineering.
- Participating in the curriculum review and development of the Agricultural Engineering department.
- Training students/trainees in both theoretical and practical aspects of Agricultural Engineering.
- Supervising jobs and activities in both training and school Agricultural Engineering departments.
- Participating in the successful implementation of LFN programs and activities.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations of the school’s engineering department.
- Supervising the annual program of work in the department.
- Contributing to workshops, short courses, symposia, and seminars related to Agricultural Engineering.
- Providing input in planning, designing, and supervising the execution of departmental projects.
- Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of quarterly and annual departmental reports.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in Agricultural Engineering.
- Proven practical knowledge and skills in Agricultural Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in relevant areas
Additional Requirements:
- Computer literacy is a must.
- Ability to speak the local language where the schools are located is an added advantage.
