Presently in Gombe and Kano States, seventy-three (73) young men and women from Borno State are currently undergoing a one month training in modern agriculture in Leventis Foundation Training Schools. This is a part of an intervention programme aimed at improving livelihood in the north-east region of Nigeria.
The project N2 Africa is a subcontract midwifed by International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and Leventis Foundation Nigeria on behalf of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The course duration is between 31st July to 29 August of 2017 and it is expected to touch all aspects of our training programmes i.e. crop production, livestock production, rural and enterprise development and farm mechanization.
