Job Vacancy: Business Development Officer (BDO)

Job Description:

As a Business Development Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and sustainability of Leventis Foundation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development of proposals and reports, managing the submission and agreement processes.
  • Collaborating across departments to compile necessary information for applications and reports.
  • Managing the grant proposal and reporting calendars, and tracking activities in the fundraising database.
  • Researching funding prospects and keeping abreast of grant and funding trends.
  • Facilitating networking and partnerships to advance the foundation’s objectives and training programs.
  • Contributing to business development and digital innovation.
  • Facilitating the participation of ex-trainees in value chains of commodities through collaboration with strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinating with senior management to set up business agendas and project impact.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration/Management or related field.
  • A minimum of three years of post-qualification work experience.
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Track record of developing successful plans and strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Additional Requirements:

Work experience within a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) is an added advantage.
