ABOUT LEVENTIS FOUNDATION NIGERIA

The Leventis Foundation has been at the forefront of empowering youths and farmers on sustainable agriculture and agribusiness since 1988 through fully sponsored, residential training programs across its six agricultural training schools located in six states in Nigeria. Each year, over 400 young Nigerians graduate from our program with practical and entrepreneurial skills in crop production, livestock production, enterprise development to include agro-processing and other agribusiness skills.

Training follows a two-pronged strategy namely: 1) one-year free on-campus intensive training and 2) outreach program targeting the generality of practicing smallholder farmers. The training is 80% practical and 20% theoretical. Personalized training is organized on demand.

LFN has trained more than 30,000 youths under the one-year regular training from 1988 to date.
